Over the years, I’ve had the chance to teach and connect with many people through media and technology.
But one thing I noticed is that seniors are often left behind when it comes to using modern devices.
Many of them have smartphones and tablets, but they don’t always know how to use them in a way that makes life easier.
Recently, I spoke with Mrs. Lisa Bogus and Barakya Rawchaa from Dogwood Forest, and they both shared something important—seniors need help with the basics of using their phones.
They want to stay connected with family, take pictures, send messages, and even explore fun apps, but they don’t always know where to start.
That’s when I knew I had to do something about it.
Imagine the difference it could make if seniors felt more confident using their devices.
They could video call their grandkids, set reminders for important appointments, or even play games that keep their minds sharp. Technology isn’t just for young people—it can help everyone, no matter their age.
This week, I’m excited to bring Click Club to Dogwood Forest.
This first class will be short and simple—just 20 minutes of easy-to-follow tips, followed by a Q&A session. I’ll be covering the basics, like how to adjust settings, make phone calls, send texts, and use voice assistants like Siri or Alexa.
The goal is to make sure everyone feels comfortable and has fun while learning. This is just the beginning.
As Click Club grows, I hope to bring more seniors into the digital world, helping them stay connected and confident in using technology.
Because no one should feel left out of the modern world—especially not our seniors
